January 29: A promotional programme of products manufactured by Malaysia-based Food Empire Holdings was held in Kathmandu recently. The products manufactured by the company includes MacCoffee, Classano Coffee and salt tea.

Ahmad Phadil Ismail, Charge D’ Affaires (first secretary) of Malaysian Embassy in Nepal, said that MacCoffee is renowned all over the world.

The chairman of Food Empire Holdings Ltd, Tan Wang Cheow, said that the company has been exporting its products to 50 countries across the world and has been manufacturing the products in six countries. The products are being distributed in Nepal by Arksh Group.

The chairman of Arksh Group, Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, said that MacCoffee has been popular in Nepal since the last decade and added that discussions are underway to set up a factory of Classano Coffee and salt tea in Nepal.
