January 21:  Citizens Bank International has provided support to the underprivileged people of Gaushala and Aurahi municipality in Mahottari district. The bank supported the Musahar community in Mahottari by providing them warm blankets for the cold season.

The bank distributed 224 sets of blankets in Gaushala Municipality and 202 sets of blankets in Aurahi Municipality of Mahottari.  Dr Chanda Karki , an executive member of the bank’s board of directors, handed over the blankets amid a function in presence of the government officials, entrepreneurs and district  leaders of various political parties.

The bank said it provided the blankets under its corporate social responsibility to help those people cope with cold during the winter.
