Sunrise Capital Starts Functioning

May 26: Sunrise Capital, a subsidiary company of Sunrise Bank has started its operation. A special general meeting held on May 22 approved a proposal of renaming NCM Merchant Banking as Sunrise Capital. Earlier, after acquiring NIDC Capital Markets, the bank was operating the institution with a name of NCM Merchant Banking.  Moreover, the meeting also endorsed a proposal of increasing capital with the amendment of article of association and article of memorandum of the company.

Presently, the company is carrying out merchant banking functions including issue management, share registrar and share guarantor. In the near future, the company aims to conduct portfolio management and mutual fund for which it also amended capital structure of the company.
