September 27: Micromax, an Indian brand of mobile phone has launched Q462 (Canvas 5 LITE) in the market. Issuing a press statement, the company claims that the phone containing an especial processor is better than other smartphones.

 The mobile phone with 1.0 GHz quad-core processor along with Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system contains 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. The mobile set features a 5-inch HD display and has been equipped with powerful 2,000 mAh removable battery.  According to the company, the high-resolution 8MP primary camera that comes with the phone facilitates autofocus and the front-facing 5MP camera is suitable for selfies.
