September 27: Sunrise Bank and NIDC Capital Markets have signed an agreement regarding acquisition of NIDC on September 25. “All legal procedure relating with the acquisition will finalise by mid-January 2017,” informed Ratna Raj Bajracharya, Chief Executive Officer of the bank. Following the agreement, securities transaction of NIDC has been halted. However, the acquisition procedure is subjected to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank.
