HBL and SEJON Join Hands for Journalism Fellowship

July 25: Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) and Society of Economic Journalist Nepal (SEJON) have agreed to establish Journalism Fellowship.  Ashok Sumsher JBR, CEO of HBL and Gokarna Awasti, President of SEJON signed MoU amid a program on July 24. The fellowship will be provided in four different categories. As per the agreement, journalists from print and electronic media will get the fellowship. The fellowship will be named HBL SEJON Fellowship amounting Rs 50,000 per category.

HBL will provide Rs 200,000 to SEJON for the purpose. Similarly, the bank will also provide Rs 30,000 for operating expenses. The fellowship will begin from this year.
