Nepse enlists 131 companies as 'A' class

February 12: One hundred and thirty-one companies out of the companies listed by the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited have fallen under 'A' class category. 
The number of 'A' class companies has been gradually increasing over the years since the launching of the capital market. The number of this category of companies was 114 last Fiscal Year. 
As per the rule, a company should have minimum Rs 20 million paid-up capital, 1,000 general shareholders, and have gone on profit continuously for three years, the book price of shares should not be less than the paid-up value and the income and expenditure details should have been presented within six months of the close of the Fiscal Year. 
Nepse stated that a total 235 companies were listed by the end of the Fiscal Year 2014/015. RSS
