India ready to assist in Nepal’s reconstruction efforts: Indian Finance Minister

February 9 : Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that India was ready to provide all kinds of financial and logistic support necessary for Nepal’s post-earthquake reconstruction.  He said that India was always prepared to become Nepal's partner in development and rebuilding. He made the remark while talking to Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, who is currently on an official visit to New Delhi. 

Jaitley also put forth his concern to Minister Paudel regarding the current reconstruction process and the government’s future strategies in this regard. Alongside the Nepal-India bilateral ties, the duo discussed issues related to other economic aspects as well.  Meanwhile, Minister Poudel informed the Indian officials about the upcoming visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to India.
