August 23: Global IME Bank has started the 'Global IME Student Scholarship' programme as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The bank will provide scholarships to students studying in public schools under the programme. The bank informed that 35 deserving girls from underprivileged classes who passed class 6 and entered class 7 from various schools are given scholarships this year.

The bank informed that scholarship will be provided every year to the selected girl students for their studies up to class 12. The bank expects that this program will help girls who are forced to drop out of school due to financial problems to complete the secondary school education.

The bank informed that it will continue the programme every year and provide scholarships to 35 female students every year covering all seven provinces.
