July 19: The government on Monday confirmed 457 new cases of Covid-19 across the country.  
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the virus claimed one life on Monday taking the death toll to 11,854.    
Meanwhile, 48 infected persons recovered from the deadly disease. With this, the number of people recovering from the disease has climbed to 968,064 till date.    
Currently, the number of active cases of coronavius across the country stands at 1,776. Among them, 1,709 are being treated in home isolation, 75 in institutional isolation, 15 in ICU and one with ventilator support.    
Among the 77 districts, Kathmandu is the only district having over 500 active cases of COVID-19 at present. Taplejung, Manang, Mustang, Jajarkot, Kalikot, Mugu, Bajura and Dadheldhura have no active case of COVID-19.   -- RSS
