NOC Hikes Prices of Petroleum Products   

July 5: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products effective from Tuesday (July 5).

The state-owned company has increased the price of petrol by Rs 2 per litre while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been increased by Rs 9 per litre. Similarly, NOC has increased the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) for domestic flights by Rs 5 per litre.

NOC said in a statement that the price of ATF for international flights and cooking gas (LPG) remains unchanged.

With the latest price hike, petrol will now cost Rs 181 per litre while diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 172 per litre. Similarly, the new price of ATF for domestic flights has been fixed at Rs 190 per litre.

NOC insisted that the prices of petroleum products were revised after receiving a new price list with increment from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).    

Prior to this, NOC had revised the price of petroleum products on June 25 when in slashed the price of petrol by Rs 20 per litre.
