OYO Empowering Hotel Owners in Nepal to Cultivate their Entrepreneurial Spirit

September 15: OYO Hotels and Homes, a fast growing chain of hotels, has claimed that it has given the asset owners an opportunity to run a viable business by providing technology, reach, branding, and training to the staff.

According to a press statement issued by the brand, the operational assistance and management services through the Co-OYO app for asset owners provide complete visibility on all business and customer metrics by providing them with the information of their cash flow, business performance, pricing, customer reviews, and recommendations.

Additionally, the company claimed that the app also helps to enhance the quality of standalone hotels and improves occupancy from 25 percent to 65 percent on average, increasing the yield on underutilized assets for the owners.

The press statement also included reviews of some OYO partner hotel owners.

Prajwal Shrestha, who owns OYO 174 Shiv Shanker Hotel, said in the statement “the staff training provided by OYO has helped us understand guest requirements and be conscious about small things that make an impact to them.”

Similarly, Sujan Kumar Khadka, owner of OYO 160 Hotel Sharaddha Palace, also revealed that OYO has helped him retain his customers.
