Samsung Launches Galaxy A Series

March 24: Samsung recently announced the launch of its Galaxy A series smartphones designed especially for young consumers. The new models are equipped with next-generation infinity-display, triple rear cameras, and a powerful battery to offer an unparalleled consumer experience, according to the company.

Issuing a statement, Samsung said that the device features like ultra-wide angle camera (video), fast-charging technology and infinity-U display.

“The new Galaxy A smartphones cater to the young millennial and focus on the way they are connecting today. Today’s consumers actively engage with their smartphones. According to internal data, consumers spend 158 minutes per week on social networking sites and 206 minutes on mobile gaming on an average. The new Galaxy A series is set to offer the coolest new action phones with path-breaking innovations,” the statement said.

The statement further said that the Galaxy A50 features Samsung’s Intelligent Scene Optimizer, where the camera categorizes the subject and adjusts the colour, contrast, and brightness to instantly optimize image quality. Equipped with on-screen fingerprint unlocking, Galaxy A50 provides intuitive unlocking without changing grip.

Meanwhile, Galaxy A30 is created for a seamless mobile experience and includes advanced camera features such as a dual camera of 16MP (F1.7) + 5MP (F2.2), including an ultra wide-angle lens.

Galaxy A30 has an ergonomically designed rear fingerprint sensor. It will be available in red, blue and black colours.

According to the company, the Galaxy A50 will has been priced at Rs 33,490 for 4/64GB RAM memory variants while the Galaxy A30 is available for Rs 28,490. The devices are available in the market since March 16.
