Tara Gaun Regency to establish five-star hotels in all seven provinces

March 18: Tara Gaun Regency Hotels Limited has made aplanto expand its hotel chain in all seven provinces. The company is planning to establish a five-star hotel in capital of each of the seven provinces of Nepal. 
 
According to sources, the management team of Tara Gaunis doing the home work aiming at bringing the hotels into operation within the next seven to eight years. 
 
Established under the PPP model, the company owns Hayat Regency Hotel, a three hundred room five star property at Bauddha, Kathmandu.The hotelis built on a sprawling land space of 150 ropanis.
 
GovindaPariyar, public relation officer of Tara Gaun Regency, informed New Business Age that the company is currently conducting an early study of the project to establish five star hotels in all the provinces and has requested the government for cooperation. 
 
According to him, the company aims to buy land in all the province capitals to build the hotels.
 
Furthermore, the company is also planning to develop four new projects on 148 ropanies of land space which it has been leasing. 
 
As mentioned by Pariyar, the design and blue prints of the projects are ready. “We are planning to establish an international standard exhibition and event hall, automatic laundry service and a 300 to 400-room business hotel on the land and will initiate the project after receiving approval from the committee,”said Pariyar. 
 
The proposed exhibition and event hall will be able to receive 100,000 visitors daily.  Similarly, the company aims to build a business hotel by utilizing 80 to 85 ropaniesof the land it has leased presently. 
 
Foreign businessmen, entrepreneurs and industrialistsare the prime focus of the proposed business hotel of the company. 
 
Likewise, the company also aims to establish a Tara GaunCulture Village and constructbig village buildings ofTharu, Sherpa and Gurung communities. 
 
According to Pariyar, the company has finalized the blue prints of the projects and is waiting for “necessary cooperation” from the Tara Gaun Development Committee. The projects are planned to be completed by Visit Nepal 2020.
